Vidal-Corona, Alberto Barrero-Medel , Héctor harvesting evaluation ecosystem aprovechamiento evaluación ecosistema El estudio se realizó en la Unidad Empresarial de Base Silvícola Guisa en la zona de El Franco, con el objetivo de proponer acciones que minimicen el daño ambiental ocasionado por el aprovechamiento maderero de Pinus maestrensis Bisse. Se realizó una evaluación de las operaciones, acorde con la “Guía para el monitoreo y evaluación del manejo forestal” y se definieron un conjunto de acciones de impacto ambiental reducido a ejecutar. De los 62 indicadores incluidos entre las actividades de caminos, tala, extracción y acopiaderos, el 45 % resultó evaluado de mal, el 29 % de regular y el 26 % de bien. La implementación del conjunto de acciones propuestas contribuirá a desarrollar operaciones más eficientes y armónicas para la protección del ecosistema montañoso. The study was completed in the Silvicultural Unit of Base Guisa in the zone of El Franco, with the objective of proposing actions that minimize the environmental damage for the harvesting of Pinus maestrensis Bisse. An evaluation of the operations was realized, according with the “ Guía para el monitoreo y evaluación del manejo forestal “ and were defined a group of actions of reduced impact. Of the 62 indicators included among the activities of roads, pruning, extraction and landings; 45 % was evaluated of bad, 29 % regular and 26% of well. The implementation of the group of actions proposals, will contribute to develop more efficient and harmonizer operations for the protection of the mountainous ecosystem.
