Retención de carbono y propuesta de alternativas de mitigación de la Empresa Agroforestal Guanahacabibes Retention of carbon and proposal of mitigation´s alternartives of Guanahacabibes´s Agroforestry Enterprise Ajete-Hernández, Arlety Palacio-Vázquez, Caridad Núñez-Martínez, Leonel Mederos-Gómez, Saray kidnapping forest system sink strategy forestry sector secuestro sistema forestal sumidero estrategia sector forestal En este trabajo se presentan los resultados de la retención de carbono por bosques naturales y artificiales, áreas por reforestar e inforestales y totales (año base y línea base) de la Empresa Agroforestal Guanahacabibes, así como de tres alternativas de mitigación con el objetivo de evaluar la contribución de su patrimonio forestal a la mitigación del cambio climático. El procesamiento se hizo con el sistema automatizado SUMFOR v. 3.03. La empresa acumulaba 29 410,47 MtC, equivalente a una remoción de 107 642,31 MtCO2 de la atmósfera para al término de 2017, mostrando una contribución sobresaliente a la mitigación del cambio climático. La alternativa que proporciona mayor retención de carbono es el aumento del Incremento Medio Anual de los bosques artificiales, y la de menor gasto y costo es la disminución de la superficie anual de bosques artificiales establecidos quemados. In this work are presented the results of the carbon retention of natural and artificial forests, areas to reforest, unfrosted areas and total (base year, base line) for the Guanahacabibes´s Agroforestry Enterprise, as well as of three mitigation´s alternatives, with the objective of evaluating the contribution from its forest patrimony to the mitigation of the climatic change. The prosecution was made with the automated system SUMFOR v. 3.03. The Enterprise 29 410, 47 MtC accumulated, equivalent to a removal of 107 642, 31 MtCO2 of the atmosphere it stops at the end of the year 2017, showing an excellent contribution to the mitigation of the climatic change. The alternative that provides bigger retention of carbon is the increase of the Half Annual Increment of the artificial forests and that of smaller expense and cost is the decrease of the annual surface of burnt established artificial forests.
