<dc:description xml:lang="en">As from the characteristics of the forested patrimony of the Agroforestry Company Las Tunas and of the technical step this is with driven, that SUMFOR was used the automated system with v. 2.19 to define alternatives residing in the forest of mitigation of the change. The obtained results justify the capability carbon drain that these forests have, considering that 15.8 million tons of carbon retain at present, with 151.7 t/ha general average, contributed by majority for the natural forests with some more 10.6 million tons, on the other hand inforestales prove to be the areas for unit of surface the most important with 353,1 t/ ha. They proved to be of the analysis of alternatives the most promising in order that the company increase the retention of carbon, the increase of the half yearly increment of the natural forests in 1 m3/ha/año, which would enable catching up with an extra accumulation of 2.7 million tons in 2025, followed of the elevation of the average achievement of the plantations to 90 % and the duplication the area of yearly plantation.</dc:description>
