Se estudió mediante la metodología de la Escuela Zurich Montpellier, considerándose una nueva clase Clethro cubensis-Cyrilletea silvae con su orden, alianza y tres asociaciones correspondientes. También se investigaron las vulnerabilidades ante el cambio climático. The highest mountains of Cuba are found in Sierra Maestra, mainly occupied for the cloud forest. By using the Zurich Montpellier school methodology one new class is described Clethro cubensis-Cyrilletea silvae with the corresponding order, alliance and their three associations. The vulnerability taking account the climatic change was studied too.
