El diagnóstico fitosanitario del bosque urbano de La Bolera se realizó a partir de la caracterización básica del espacio arbolado, los resultados del estudio fitosociológico del área y la observación directa. Se identificaron tres plagas insectívoras y tres enfermedades que afectan a seis de las 27 especies arbóreas presentes en el área. El nivel de daño se estimó como ligero o leve, aunque se infiere un mayor riesgo ante futuros ataques de plagas y enfermedades. Otros riesgos detectados incluyen aquellos relacionados con eventos climatológicos fuertes, el alto porcentaje de árboles que en pocos años habrán envejecido con la consiguiente pérdida de vigor, y la distribución taxonómica no uniforme (abundancia y dominancia) del número de individuos por especie. Las acciones de regulación y saneamiento proponen un manejo integrado del espacio arbolado, descartando el uso de químicos debido al propósito social del bosque. The phytosanitary diagnosis of the urban forest is essential to guarantee the health and sustainability of ecosystems in urban areas. The phytosanitary diagnosis of the urban forest of La Bolera was carried out based on the basic characterization of the wooded area, the results of the phytosociological study of the area and direct observation. Three insectivorous pests and three diseases were identified that affect six of the 27 tree species present in the area. The level of damage was estimated as light or slight, although a greater risk of future attacks by pests and diseases is inferred. Other risks detected include those related to strong weather events, the high percentage of trees that will have aged in a few years with the consequent loss of vigor, and the non-uniform taxonomic distribution (abundance and dominance) of the number of individuals per species. The regulation and sanitation actions propose an integrated management of the wooded area, ruling out the use of chemicals due to the social purpose of the forest.
