Valle-López, Manuel Enríquez-González, Iris Recio-Cabrera, Henry García-Corrales, Humberto En el artículo se presentan los resultados en la determinación del rendimiento y especificaciones físico-químicas del aceite esencial de las hojas de Eucalyptus sp. proveniente de las áreas de tala de la Empresa Tabacalera de Consolación del Sur en la UEB Tabacalera Alonso Rojas, para producción de cujes para el secado de las hojas de tabaco. El rendimiento de aceite esencial obtenido fue de 1 g de aceite/kg de hojas; los parámetros físico-químicos determinados fueron densidad relativa, índice de refracción, índice de acidez, índice de éster, los cuales se encuentran dentro de los rangos publicados internacionalmente para el aceite esencial de eucalipto. Entre los principales componentes identificados se encuentran alfa-pineno, limoneno, 1,8-cineol, p-cimeno, alfa-terpineol y gamma-terpineno. In the article, the results obtained in the determination of the yield and physicochemical specifications of the essential oil of the Eucalyptus sp. leaves from the felling areas of the Tabacalera Company of Southern Consolation in the UEB Tabacalera of Alonso Rojas, For the production of sheets for the drying of tobacco leaves.
