El siguiente trabajo examina la proyección climática futura de la temperatura media y su potencial influencia en la biodiversidad de la Empresa Agro-Forestal Baracoa, provincia de Guantánamo, Cuba. Para ello fue utilizado el sistema de modelado climático PRECIS mediante el empleo de dos modelos de circulación global (Hadley [H] y Echam [E]), todo ello bajo los escenarios de emisiones A2 y B2, para tres períodos de tiempo. Como resultado de la evaluación se identificaron riesgos de extinción para 23 especies endémicas y exclusivas de la formación Pluvisilva de montaña reportadas en el área de la empresa, las cuales fueron agrupadas en cuatro grupos de especies vulnerables. Tomando en consideración los riesgos que enfrentan esos taxas, se acomete la determinación de medidas para hacer frente a este problema, especificándose los aspectos que serán necesarios abordar para su implementación. In many regions of the world there is great diversity of evidence of the impacts of the climatic change on the biodiversity. The following work examines the future climatic projection of the half temperature succinctly and its potential influences in the biodiversity of the Agroforestry Enterprise Baracoa of Guantanamo country, Cuba. For the system of modeling climatic PRECIS it was used by means of the employment of two models of global circulation (Hadley [H] and Echam [E]), everything it under the scenarios of emissions A2 and B2, for three periods of time. As a result of the evaluation extinction risks were identified for seven endemic and exclusive species of the formation Pluvisilva of mountain reported in the area of the Enterprise which were contained in two groups of vulnerable species. Taking in consideration the risks that face those taxa, the determination of measures is attacked to make in front of this problem, being specified the aspects that will be necessary to approach for their implementation.
