El objetivo del trabajo es describir el estado de conservación de los grupos taxonómicos de las especies que categorizan como frutales. Se encontró una alta diversidad de especies de frutales representados en las familias Anacardiácee, Mirtaceae, Juglandaceae y Sapotáceeae con mayor cantidad de individuos. Se observó que los ejemplares en su mayoría mantienen un buen estado de conservación a pesar de haber sufrido situaciones críticas de infraestructura. Los géneros con menor presencia son Persea, Terminalia y Melicoccus. Se determinó que las afectaciones de mayor riesgo son las manchas, las rajaduras en el corte tangencial alto y el desprendimiento de corteza en algunas zonas de la periferia de la muestra. The collection of fruit-bearing caribean “Julian Acuña Galé” is part of the sample of wood and it is characterized to present introduced elements and endemic of economic and nutritional high value for the population’s alimentary security and the family agriculture. The objective of the work is to describe the state of conservation of the Taxonomic groups expressed in the species that categorize as fruit-bearing. It was found high species diversity belongs to the families Anacardiáceae, Mirtaceae, Juglandaceae and Sapotaceae. It was observed that the samples in their majority maintain a good conservation state in spite of having suffered critical situations of infrastructure. The woods with smaller abundance are Persea, Terminalia and Melicoccus. It was determined that the affectations of more risk are the stains and the cracks in the tangential high cut, as well as bark detachment in some areas of the periphery of the sample.
