Rodríguez-Cuevas, Pedro Pinus cubensis Griseb modeling carbon retained Pinus cubensis Griseb modelación carbono retenido El objetivo principal de este trabajo es estimar a partir de la edad de las plantaciones de Pinus cubensis Griseb en la Empresa Forestal Integral Baracoa, Guantánamo, Cuba, el carbono retenido por hectárea mediante la modelación matemática, la cual constituye una herramienta muy útil para la planificación y gestión de los ecosistemas forestales. Se evaluaron siete modelos de regresión no lineal, siendo Hossfeld I Modificado el modelo que presentó mejor bondad de ajuste, con un coeficiente de determinación del 87,5 % y sus dos parámetros altamente significativos (p < 0,001). Se presentan las curvas que describen la evolución en el tiempo del incremento medio anual (IMA) y el incremento corriente anual (ICA) de dicha variable. The main objective of this work is estimated from the age of plantations of Pinus cubensis Griseb on the Integral Forest Enterprise Baracoa, Guantánamo, Cuba carbon sequestered per hectare through mathematical modeling, which is a very useful for the planning and management of forest ecosystems tool.
