Comportamiento hidrológico de la regeneración natural de pinares naturales en Alturas de Pizarras, Pinar del Río, Cuba Hidrologic behavior of the natural regeneration of pine plantation in Alturas de Pizarras, Pinar del Río province, Cuba Rodríguez-Gil, Yolanis Renda-Sayoux, Arsenio Plasencia-Puentes, Tomás Herrero-Echavarría, Juan A. natural regeneration hydrological restoration pine plantation regeneración natural restauración hidrológica pinares En el presente trabajo se dan a conocer los primeros resultados de la investigación, los cuales revisten una enorme importancia para mejorar las diligencias o gestiones encaminadas a garantizar un suministro de agua con calidad para todos los usos de forma sostenida, cuando se depende de los bosques de pinares para la disponibilidad de este preciado líquido, por lo que el objetivo central del presente artículo es revelar el comportamiento de las variables lluvias, escurrimiento superficial y la evapotranspiración anual total en los períodos secos y húmedos en los primeros estadios de la regeneración natural de P. caribaea y P. tropicalis. La investigación se efectuó en la Estación Hidrológica Forestal Amistad, provincia de Pinar del Río. Los índices hidrológicos fueron determinados en la parcela de balance hídrico y en la subcuenca V. Se concluye que la regeneración natural de pinares, debido a su crecimiento favorable, tiene una considerable repuesta hidrológica en las cuencas hidrográficas en la región de Alturas de Pizarras en Pinar del Río, al observarse uniformidad en el crecimiento de las plántulas. In the present paper the first investigation results, which are very important for diligences or management to guarantee a supply of water with quality for all the uses in a sustained way, when depends on the forests of pine for the availability of this valuable liquid, for that reason the main objective of the present article is to reveal the behavior of the variable rains, superficial flow and the total annual evapotranspiration in the first states of the natural regeneration of P. caribaea, P. tropicalis. This investigation were experienced and evaluated in the Forest Hydrological Station Amistad, Pinar del Río province, the hydrological indexes were determined in the trial of hidric balance at the catchment V. It concludes that the natural regeneration of pines plantation due to its favourable growth has considerable hydrological restoration in the watershed in the region of Alturas de Pizarras, Pinar del Río province, when being observed uniformity in the growth of the tree youngs.
