Flora arbórea acompañante de Abarema maestrensis (Urb.) Bässler en un fragmento del bosque pluvial montano, Parque Nacional Turquino Associated arboreal flora of Abarema maestrensis (Urb.) García-Rodríguez, Isnaudy López-Martell, Andrés Villalón-Moracén, Yudelkis La investigación se realizó en la Unidad Zonal de Conservación La Platica, Parque Nacional Turquino, en 2014, con el objetivo de identificar la flora arbórea acompañante de Abarema maestrensis. Se levantaron parcelas de 150 m2, siguiendo transectos de 10 m x 50 m. Se registraron los individuos mayores de 5 cm de diámetro. Para determinar la suficiencia del esfuerzo de muestreo se construyó la curva área-especie, determinándose además los parámetros de la estructura horizontal a través del cálculo de abundancia relativa y frecuencia relativa. El estudio de la flora acompañante de la especie permitió la identificación de 21 familias, 28 géneros, 28 especies y 804 individuos, destacándose las familias Lauraceae, Meliaceae y Mimosaceae como las más representativas. Las especies de mayor peso ecológico son Sapium jamaicensis Sw., Savia cithroxiloides Sw., Piper arboreum Aubl, caracterizándose la vegetación como heterogénea y rica en el área de estudio. The investigation was carried out in the Zonal Unit of Conservation La Platica, National Park Turquino in the year 2014, with the objective of identifying the arboreal accompanying flora of Abarema maestrensis. Plots of 150 m2 were made following transects of 10 m x 50 m. The individuals bigger than 5 diameter cm were registered. To determine the sufficiency of the sampling effort the curve area-species was developed; being also determined the parameters of the horizontal structure through the calculation of relative abundance and relative frequency. The study of the accompanying flora of the species allowed the identification of 21 families, 28 genders, 28 species and 804 individuals. Standing out Lauraceae, Meliaceae and Mimosaceae as the most representative families. The species with more ecological weight are Sapium jamaicensis Sw., Savia cithroxiloides Sw., Piper arboreum Aubl being the vegetation characterized like heterogeneous and rich in the study area.
