Sustrato para la propagación vegetativa de Bambusa vulgaris Schrader ex Wendland en condiciones de viveros forestales Substrates for the vegetative propagation of Bambusa vulgaris Schrader Wendland in conditions of forest tree nurseries González-Menéndez, Modesto Betancourt-Riquelme, Miguel Sánchez-Corvo, Osviel Pérez-Coro, Edel Friol-Sánchez, Pedro Cabrera-Torres, Bárbaro Vegetative propagation pegs sucker removing Propagación vegetativa esquejes deshije El presente trabajo muestra los resultados de la utilización de diferentes sustratos de suelos para la propagación vegetativa de Bambusa vulgaris Schrader ex Wendland en condiciones de viveros forestales. El estudio se realizó en el vivero de la Estación Experimental Agro-Forestal de Viñales. Se utilizó un diseño completamente al azar: cuatro sustratos para la propagación por esquejes y para por deshije. Estos, teniendo como base de su composición suelo proveniente de los pinares de la zona, arena de río lavada, humos de lombriz y turba. Con la utilización del sustrato compuesto por el 80 % de suelo proveniente de los pinares de la zona, el 10 % de humus y el 10 % de arena de río lavada se obtuvieron los resultados más significativos en cuanto a mayor de logro de plántulas, altura media de las posturas y en el número medio de hijos por bolsa, dando muestra de ser este sustrato el de características más adecuado para la propagación vegetativa de la especie Bambusa vulgaris Schrader ex Wendland en las condiciones de viveros forestales en las Alturas de Pizarras de Pinar del Río, Cuba. The present work shows the results of the use of different substrates of soils for the vegetative propagation of Bambusa vulgaris Schrader ex Wendland in conditions of forest tree nurseries. The study was carried out in the tree nursery of Agro-Forestry Experiment Station in Viñales. We used a completely randomized design: four substrates were tested in the propagation by pegs and sucker removing. These, having like base of their composition: soil coming from the pine forests of the area, washed river sand, worm humus and it upsets. With the use of the compound substrate for (80 % of soil coming from the of the area, 10 % of humus and 10 % of washed river sand) the most appropriate results were obtained for: bigger than plantules achievement, half height of the postures and in the half number of children for bag, giving sample of being this substrates that of the most appropriate characteristics for the vegetative propagation of the species Bambusa vulgaris Schrader ex Wendland under the conditions of forest tree nurseries in the Alturas de Pizarras region of Pinar del Río, Cuba.
