Variación espacial en las comunidades de lagartos y su relación con la estructura de la vegetación en la Reserva de Biosfera Península de Guanahacabibes, Cuba The habitat variation in the communities of lizards and their relationship with the structure of vegetation, at the Biosphere Reserve of Peninsula of Guanahacabibes, Cuba Pérez-Rodríguez, Evelyn Delgado-Fernández, Freddy Sauria forest management Peninsula de Guanahacabibes Sauria aprovechamiento forestal Península de Guanahacabibes En este trabajo se establece una comparación de la composición y el estado de tres familias del suborden Sauria del extremo más occidental de la Reserva de Biosfera Península de Guanahacabibes, Cabo San Antonio, en áreas de más de treinta años sin manejos forestales y área de aproximadamente de dos a cinco años con aprovechamientos forestales, en época de sequía. Se emplea el método de itinerario de censo y se valoran indicadores ecológicos como riqueza de especies, abundancia relativa, tipo de sustrato, iluminación a que se exponen, entre otros. La especie numéricamente dominante en estas áreas de estudio resultó ser el Anolis quadriocellifer, endémico regional de la localidad. In this paper is described a comparison between the composition and the state of conservation of three families of the sub order Sauria of the most western part of the Reserve of Biosphere Peninsula of Guanahacabibes (Cabo San Antonio, in areas of more than 30 years without forest management and a surface with a forest management approximately of 2 to 5 years, during the dry season. The method of itinerary census is used and ecological indicators are evaluated such as: richness of species, relative abundance, sustrato type, illumination exposure, among others. The dominant species in numerical terms was Anolis quadriocellifer, endemic of the locality.
