Las quemas se realizaron el 16 de agosto de 2009, se instalaron cuatros parcelas de 1000 m2 para la evaluación del comportamiento del fuego, se determinó la cantidad de material combustible con el método de la parcela de 1 m2 y se evaluó el comportamiento de la regeneración en parcelas de 100 m2. La media del peso seco del material combustible fue de 37,237 t x ha–1, del que se redujo el 80,22 %. Los parámetros del comportamiento del fuego se comportaron en los rangos permitidos para quemas prescritas.
