Estudio de la biodiversidad malacológica en la Reserva Florística Manejada Mogote de Pico Chico Malacological study of biodiversity handled in the Reserve of Pico Chico Floristic Rodríguez-Alfaro, Beatriz Urrutia-Hernández, Isyoel Fleitas-Camacho, Yosvany Rodríguez-Roque, Yusbel Miñoso-Bonilla, Yaumara Ávila-Martínez, Magyuri Bejerano, Dianelis Rivero-Calvo, Caridad Palacios, Emma malacology biodiversity reserve stands malacologia biodiversidad reservas forestales El presente trabajo se desarrolló en el área protegida Reserva Florística Manejada Mogote de Pico Chico, perteneciente al municipio de La Palma, donde se diagnosticó la biodiversidad de especies y localización de acuerdo con los índices de desarrollo de la malacofauna existente en el área de estudio. Para su ejecución se realizaron expediciones de campo, las cuales permitieron determinar la composición malacológica en los diferentes ecótopos mediante el levantamiento de parcelas de 20 x 20 m. Para la determinación de la biodiversidad se utilizó además el índice de Shannon-Weiner en cada uno de estos puntos, y se obtuvo entre otros resultados diferencias en cuanto al número de especies e índice de biodiversidad, siendo más acentuada en la base.
