Plasencia-Puentes, Tomás Pinus hydrological indexes thinning Pinus índices hidrológicos raleo El presente trabajo forma parte del Proyecto Bienes y Servicios Ambientales Derivados del Manejo de los Pinares, perteneciente al Programa Ramal Preservación de los Recursos Naturales, auspiciado por la Dirección de Ciencia y Técnica del Ministerio de la Agricultura. En él se dan a conocer los resultados de la influencia del raleo I y II en el régimen hidrológico, efectuado después de quince años de reforestada una subcuenca previamente talada en su totalidad, comparados con una subcuenca colindante (testigo) en la región natural Alturas de Pizarras, macizo montañoso Guaniguanico, provincia de Pinar del Río. Los bienes obtenidos se determinaron calculando el volumen de madera total, y los servicios se partieron de las determinaciones diarias del caudal basado en la fórmula de Tompson, para luego calcular el volumen y los índices hidrológicos en las subcuencas de estudio. El objetivo central del presente trabajo consiste en revelar las alteraciones de algunos índices hidrológicos causados por las intervenciones silvícolas en subcuencas cubiertas de pinares y el impacto económico ambiental que se genera. The present paper forms part of the Project Goods and Environmental Services derived from Pine Plantation Management, belonging to the Program Entitled Preservation of the Natural Resources, addressed by the Ministry of the Agriculture. The results of the influence of the thinning I and II in the hydrological regime, made after 15 years of having reforested a small catchment previously whole cutting, compared with an adjacent (witness) one, located at the Alturas de Pizarras, are given. The obtained goods were determined calculating the wooden total volume and the services from the daily determinations of the flow based on the formula of Tompson, then the volume and the hydrological indexes in the small catchment studied, were calculated. The central objective of the present paper consists on revealing the alterations of some hydrological indexes caused by the thinning in small catchment covered by pine plantation and the economic environmental impact that it is generated.
