Resultados preliminares de la forestería análoga en la provincia de Guantánamo Prelimary results of the analogy forestry in the Guantánamo province Toirac-Arguelles, Wilmer Matos-Leyva, Adalberto Fuentes-Útrias, Víctor Suárez-Ramos, Eider Silot-Sanamé, Víctor Hechavarría-Kindelán, Orlidia Biodiversity silviculture ecosystems forest ecology Biodiversidad silvicultura ecosistema ecología forestal El estudio se realizó en las Fincas Forestales 1, 2, 4 y 14 de la Unidad Silvícola Guantánamo, perteneciente a la Empresa Forestal Integral Guantánamo, desarrollado bajo técnicas de Forestería Análoga: una herramienta silvicultural para diseñar y crear ecosistemas estables que sostengan y aumenten los recursos naturales y los servicios ecológicos de un ecosistema. En él se obtiene como resultado una evaluación integral de las áreas, la fórmula fisionómica de la vegetación existente y la valoración ecológica con sus correspondientes análisis. En sentido general, en el estudio de caso realizado en la Finca 1 se observa que la zona 4 es la de mejores condiciones en cuanto a desarrollo de sus doseles, la que se puede tomar como referencia para otras zonas. The study was carried out on the forest farms (1, 2, 4 and 14) of the Silvicultural (Forestry) Unit Guantánamo, belonging to the Integral Forest Company Guantánamo. The study is being developed with the technological approach of Analogy Forestry: A silvicultural (forestry) tool, used to design and create stable ecosystems that sustain and increase the natural resources and the ecological services of an ecosystem. With this, it is possible to obtain an integral evaluation of the areas, the physiognomic formula of the existent vegetation and the ecological appraisal with their corresponding analyses. In general, it was observed in the case study carried out on the Farm number one that the zone 4 had the better conditions as seen by the development of their canopies, this zone can be taken as a reference, to be copied in other zones.
