Evaluación de quemas prescritas en los indicadores hidrológicos en la subcuenca hidrográfica 1 asociada al río San Diego, Galalón, Los Palacios Urrutia-Hernández, Isyoel Hernández-Abreu, José A. Rodríguez-Alfaro, Beatriz Fleitas-Camacho, Yosvany Rodríguez-Roque, Yusbel Renda-Sayoux, Arsenio Cuesta-Mola, Iosvany Martínez-Becerra, Wilfredo Flores-Garnica, José Germán Pinus controlled burning hidrology runoff Pinus quema controlada hidrología escorrentía La investigación se desarrolló en el área experimental de la Estación Hidrológica Amistad, perteneciente al municipio de Los Palacios, con el objetivo de evaluar los efectos de las quemas prescritas en bosques naturales mezclados de Pinus tropicalis Morelet y Caribaea var. caribaea en el comportamiento de los indicadores hidrológicos. Se establecieron dos parcelas de 10 000 m2 que representa el 25% de la superficie del área, donde se evaluó la cantidad de material combustible por el método de la parcela de un metro cuadrado ante y después de efectuadas las quemas. Las variables del comportamiento del fuego se estimaron a través de diferentes ecuaciones. Para la obtención de los datos fueron colocados aleatoriamente cuatro puntos de muestreo en cada parcela. Una semana antes y otra después de implementar las quemas prescritas, los indicadores hidrológicos como lámina, módulo y coeficiente de escurrimiento se analizaron a través de la prueba de rangos con signos de Wilcoxon (5%) para muestras dependientes, y la de W. Mann Whitney (Wilcoxon) (5%) para muestras independientes. Los resultados muestran diferencias significativas solo para el módulo de escurrimiento.
