Situation of the forest patrimony Linares-Landa, Elías Álvarez-Brito, Arnaldo Diago-Urfé, Ivonne Mercadet-Portillo, Alicia forests forest resources forestry policies Cuba bosques recursos forestales política forestal Cuba A partir de la evaluación de los datos suministrados por el servicio estatal forestal sobre la situación del patrimonio forestal del país a fines del 2007, fue realizado un análisis para dar seguimiento a los elementos de mayor importancia para la política forestal nacional, entre los que están la composición del patrimonio, el avance del área cubierta, la conclusión de la reforestación del país en el 2015 y la sustitución de las producciones madereras, procedentes de los bosques naturales, por las de las plantaciones creadas. Starting from the evaluation of the data given by the Forest State Service on the situation of the forest patrimony of the country at the end of the 2007, an analysis was carried out to control the elements of more importance for the National Forest Politics, among those that the composition of the patrimony are, the advance of the covered area, the conclusion of the (re)forest of the country in 2015 and the substitution of the timber productions coming from natural forests, for those of the created plantations.
