Estructura y composición de comunidades de aves en áreas naturales de Pinus tropicalis Morelet, de la Empresa Forestal Integral Minas de Matahambre Alonso Torrens, Yatsunaris Hernández Martínez, Fernando R. Sotolongo-Sospedra, Rogelio Sánchez Oliva, Yarián comunidades de aves estructura y composición P. tropicalis áreas naturales La investigación se realizó en los meses comprendidos entre enero y abril del 2007, en un pinar natural de Pinus tropicalis Morelet de 192 ha ubicado en el Tibisí, el cual pertenece al lote 15 de la unidad silvícola Santa Lucía de la empresa forestal integral (EFI) Minas de Matahambre, con el objetivo de determinar la estructura y composición de las comunidades de aves asociadas a áreas naturales de P. tropicalis Morelet. Para el censo de las aves se utilizó el método de recuento en puntos con radio fijo propuesto por Wunderle (1994) para el conteo de aves del Caribe. Se detectó un total de 37 especies de aves distribuidas en 11 órdenes y 18 familias, las cuales fueron clasificadas según su abundancia y permanecía dentro del territorio nacional, el grupo trófico al que pertenecen, nivel de endemismo y grado de amenaza. Se determinó la distribución y abundancia de las aves por estratos. The investigation was carried out in the months understood between January and April of the 2007, in a natural pinegrove of Pinus tropicalis Morelet 192 has located in the Tibisí, which belongs to the lot 15 of the Unit Silvícola Santa Lucía of the Integral Forest Company Mines of Matahambre; with the objective of determining the structure and composition of the communities of birds associated to natural areas of P. tropicalis Morelet. For the census of the birds the recount method was used in points with fixed radio proposed by Wunderle (1994) for the count of birds of the Caribbean. A total of 37 species of birds distributed in 11 Orders and 18 Families were detected, which were classified according to its abundance and it remained inside the national territory, the group trofico to which belong, endemismo level and threat grade.
