Hernández, Aichel sawmill efficiency quality variation aserrío eficiencia calidad variación El artículo tiene como objetivo brindar algunas consideraciones para elevar los niveles de rendimiento de madera de Pinus caribaea var. caribaea mediante el uso de una estrategia para incrementar la calidad dimensional de la madera aserrada a partir del análisis de las dimensiones promedio obtenidas y la variación corte en el aserrío, para lo cual se construye un programa denominado Control, que permite determinar las dimensiones óptimas de aserrío, así como la variación en grosor. Se observa que en los aserraderos existe un subdimensionamiento generalizado, fundamentalmente en los surtidos 50, 75, 100 mm, además de una excesiva variación de aserrado. Para eliminar estas deficiencias es necesario que las acciones correctivas estén dirigidas fundamentalmente a aquellas partes de máquinas responsables, con la variación de aserrado controlando los esquemas de corte seleccionados por el aserrador. The objective of this work is guided to offer some considerations to improve the levels of efficiency of wooden conversion of Pinus caribaea var. caribaea in bandsaw to use of a strategy to increase the dimensional quality of the sawn wood starting from the analysis of the behavior of the current dimensions of the same and the variation of the one sawed. We built “Control” software witch allows the determining the good dimensions of having sawed as well as the determination of the variation of having sawed. It has observed that in the sawmills exists an undersizing fundamentally in the selections 50, 75, 100 mm; as well as an excessive variation of having sawed. It is necessary to eliminate these deficiencies of the actions correctives witch are directed fundamentally to those parts of machines responsible with the variation of having sawed controlling the court outlines selected by the sawyer.
