<dc:description xml:lang="en">The study of the forest component in agroforestry farms is key to promoting sustainable management and biodiversity conservation. This study aimed to assess the floristic diversity of Agroforestry Farm 465 in Guanabacoa, Cuba, to optimize the rational use of its forest resources. Fifteen sampling plots (10 × 10 m²) were established, where species were recorded in three strata (herbaceous, shrub, and tree). Alpha (Shannon-Weiner, Simpson) and beta (Bray-Curtis cluster analysis) diversity indices were calculated. The results showed 14 species distributed across 10 families, with a predominance of Malvaceae (153 individuals) and Fabaceae. The tree stratum concentrated 75% of the individuals, with Hibiscus elatus (Majagua) being the dominant species. The Shannon indices (H' = 1.76) and evenness (E = 0.7) indicated medium diversity and homogeneous distribution, while the similarity analysis revealed floristic groupings with up to 100% similarity between plots. It was concluded that the farm has acceptable diversity, with valuable species for productive and ecological uses, although human development reduces diversity in lower strata.</dc:description>
