Observaciones sobre Rhyacionia frustrana y Dioryctria clarioralis, taladores de los brotes del Pinus caribaea

Abstract
Como complemento a los resultados preliminares, sobre el conocimiento de Rhyacionia frustrana (Comstock) y Dioryctria clarioralis (Walker), logrados durante los años 1969-1971, se ofrece esta contribución con los datos de las observaciones realizadas, principalmente, sobre la fluctuación anual de las poblaciones de ambas especies, en la provincia de Pinar del Río. Se trata de relacionar factores tales como alimento disponible, temperatura y precipitaciones y su efecto sobre las poblaciones de los insectos, mediante el uso de climagramas para las zonas de observación, confeccionados al efecto.
