Aspectos de la reproducción de la torcaza cabeciblanca (Columba leucocephala) en cayos «Los Indios», Isla de la Juventud

Abstract
Se presentan las principales características reproductivas de la torcaza cabeciblanca (Columba leucocephala) en uno de los palomares más típicos de la Isla de la Juventud. En el desarrollo del trabajo se analizan y se discuten las variables medibles (densidades de nidos, huevos y pichones) y los sistemas de muestreos utilizados. El incremento reproductivo de la especie fue de un 13%, lo que equivale a un total de 27 917 pichones volantones, en los primeros días de agosto.
