Estudio de la composición florística de una formación semicaducifolia sobre caliza, Ciénaga de Zapata

Abstract
El presente estudio comprende un inventario de las especies forestales y un análisis estructural de los bosques Pálpito, península de Zapata, clasificados como semicaducifolios sobre caliza. Se delimitaron 10 parcelas con una superficie individual de 0,05 ha en las que se identificaron 46 especies, con sus respectivas valoraciones en diámetro y altura, los que fueron procesados según las normas establecidas por otros autores. En general, el trabajo concluye señalando el alto estado de intervención practicado en este bosque, así como la posible utilización de especies autóctonas para su reconstrucción.
