Estudio sobre Episimus condensatanus (Zeller), plaga del ocuje

Abstract
Within the framework of the research on forest pests attention was paid to the microlepidopterus E. condensatanus (Zeller) (Olethreutidae, Lepidoptera), which attacks the new shoots and leaves of "ocuje" (Calophyllum braisiliense Camb. var. antillanum). There is not a complete description of this species according to modern criteria, neither in the national literature nor in that of other countries. The aim of this contribution is to give a complete knowledge on this subject. Information is given about its life cycle and recomendations are made for its chemical control.
