Apuntes sobre algunas características del bloque machihembrado

Abstract
Se hace un breve comentario acerca de las propiedades constructivas más importantes observadas en el bosque machihembrado de madera-cemento, obtenido a partir de astillas de Pinus caribaea Mor. encoladas con cemento gris. Se indica que el valor de 15 kg/cm2 registrado en el ensayo de compresión efectuado a los especimenes de prueba para una densidad de 800 kg/m3 , reveló estar comprendido dentro de los rangos admisibles de las normas soviéticas, vigentes para elementos de pared no soportables.
