Ahesivo para madera contrachapada a partir de tanino de Pinus caribaea

Abstract
Se obtuvo un producto adhesivo a partir de extractos tdnicos de Pinus caribaea Morelet var. caribaea, desarrollado mediante una reacción de policondensación bajo un régimen de síntesis controlada. La formación de la resina es catalizada fuertemente tanto en medio básico como ácido,y su punto de gelificación cuando el tanino se encuentra en solución acuosa (32 % de sólidos) se alcanza en un tiempo menor de dos minutos, a una temperatura de 50°C. El adhesivo de tanino de corteza se comporta favorablemente al aplicarse a una lamina de madera para contrachapado, y se registra una alta resistencia a la prueba de flexión estática y de inmersión en agua caliente.
