Efecto de diferentes mezclas de materiales sobre el crecimiento de las posturas de Pinus caribaea

Abstract
Se hizo un estudio con el objetivo de evaluar la cachaza, la ceniza de ingenio y el aserrín de pino como fuentes de materia orgánica en la preparación de la mezcla para llenar bolsas de polietileno en la producción de las posturas de Pinus caribaea var. caribaea en el vivero de la Estación Experimental Forestal de Viñales, Pinar del Río. Se utilizaron tres niveles: 10, 20 y 30% de cachaza, ceniza y aserrín para preparar una mezcla con un suelo Guane loam arenoso. Los resultados indican que para obtener el máximo de crecimiento en altura con un mínimo de inversión, debe utilizarse una mezcla de 90% de suelo Guane arenoso y 10% de cachaza bien descompuesta.
