Abstract
In selecting the forest tree species for windbreaks on shelterbelts, the association of plants that might cause the adecuate conditions for the development of scme polyphagous insects should be avoided. It is recommended to avoid the use of host plants common to the species already present in the biotope, as well as improper mixing of plants in the windbreakr, as the insects can move from one plant to another.
