Taxonomic identification of two macromycle found in stumps of roble blanco (Tabbeuia angustata Britt.)

Abstract
Currently, it is estimated that fungal diversity reaches the figure of three million species and is considered the second most diverse group, surpassed only by insects. In general, fungi and myxomycetes constitute a critical point in the knowledge of the biological diversity of Cuba. In the National Biodiversity Study, the species of fungi and myxomycetes that could inhabit the Cuban archipelago was estimated at 48,240. However, the number of known species until 2014 is much lower and represents less than six percent of the diversity known worldwide. Since the research carried out in the institute on this subject is incipient, the objective of this work is the taxonomic identification of two macromycetes found in oak stumps in the plantation of various varieties of Coffea arabica of the Research Base Science and Technology Unit.
