Carbon retained in three areas in process of restauration with analogy forestry technique
Main Article Content
Abstract
Cuba has been strongly involved in the actions related with the climatic change where they are present the adoption of necessary mitigation measures to reduce its negative influences and to take advantage of the positive ones. The technique of Analogy Forestry was used based on designs, which keeps in mind the calculation of the carbon retained in the treatment areas from during the process. The objective of the work was to determine the total carbon retained in the natural areas in the 2015 in the places Díaz Cuevas. Oliver Placetas in Villa Clara. La Aplastada Arriba in the Sierra Maestra. Granma and Paso de Cuba in Baracoa Guantánamo. Its stablisment the parcel of 20 m x 25 m and it was applied the methodology of Álvarez and Mercadet (2009) for the retained carbon. The retained total carbon was determined for Díaz Cuevas 136.83 t. La Aplastada Arriba 41.74 t and in the Paso of Cuba 1573.2 t. It’s have been absorbed of the atmosphere 6429.00 t CO2.
