Wood collection and seed collection: didactic tool for forest biodiversity study
Main Article Content
Abstract
The objective of the work was to prepare biological collections as a way to the study and conservation of the biodiversity like support material in the scientific-technical studies of wood. The alive and preserved biological collections of the Placetas´s Agroforestal Experimental Station were used. Training actions were carried out through classes, chats, workshops related with forest and environmental subjects and journeys by station´s areas. As results a was conformed in the Villa Clara´s Agroforestal Enterprise, allowing the socialization of the collections toward different publics, high motivation for the career forest and bigger linking between researchers and technicians of the Station with the workers of the Enterprise, children, producers and other forest´s users.
