To use of leaves Eucalyptus sp. for production therapheutical essential oils
Main Article Content
Abstract
In the article, the results obtained in the determination of the yield and physicochemical specifications of the essential oil of the Eucalyptus sp. leaves from the felling areas of the Tabacalera Company of Southern Consolation in the UEB Tabacalera of Alonso Rojas, For the production of sheets for the drying of tobacco leaves. The yield of essential oil obtained was 1g of oil / kg of leaves; the physical - chemical parameters determined were: Relative density, Refractive index, Acid index, Ester index, which is within the internationally published ranges for Eucalyptus essential oil. Among the main components identified are: alpha-pinene, limonene, 1,8-cineol, p-cymene, alpha-terpineol and gamma-terpinene.
