Diagnosis made in the Farm Diaz Cuevas technique using analog forestry
Main Article Content
Abstract
The work was developed at the Experimental Station Agroforestry Placetas, under the technique of Analog Forestry; through which the stands were observed, registered and diagnosed, applying the methodology of the RIFA, (2008). The physiognomic formula of the vegetation was determined to quickly achieve a symbolic description of the plant structure; As well as the ecological valuation with its corresponding analyzes. Rods 11 and 12 were selected to apply the selected technique. Runoff maps and soils were constructed, stand 12 was considered as an analogous forest because of the diversity of species in its different canopies. The gap analysis between the climatic forest formula and the formula of the plot to be treated (stand 11) revealed the missing structure aspects. The ecological assessment of the areas showed the need to increase soil productivity and conservation indicators.
