Behavior of parameters morphological in nursery of the species de Calamus tetradactylus Hance in the municipality Baracoa, Guantánamo

Abstract
The present work had as objective to evaluate the parameters morphological in nursery of the species of Ratán (Calamus tetradactylus Hance) in the municipality Baracoa province Guantánamo, this he/she understood the evaluation of height, number of leaves, diameter and I release of the main root. He/she was carried out in the understood period of September 2013 to March 2014 in the forest nursery in passing of Cuba Baracoa, belonging to the Managerial Unit of Base Silvícola Combat of Sabanilla of the Integral Forest Company Baracoa. The study is part of a program for the establishment of the Ratán in different areas of the country, the species in the evaluated period showed adaptability in the nursery stage, where it was used as organic matter the husk of cocoa reaching parameters of heights, diameter and numbers of leaves recommended to be planted in a period of 180 days, diminishing its demurrage in half in nursery.
