Determination of composition carbon, nitrogen and mineral elements in plants of Bambusa vulgaris Schrader ex Wendland Guane, Pinar del Río
Main Article Content
Abstract
Bambusa vulgaris Schrader ex Wendland is distributed along the whole country. The study was carried out in the places Consejo Popular Los Portales, Consejo Popular Punta de la Sierra y Asentamiento Humano Rural Concentrado La Güira, belonging to the municipality Guane. The percentages of carbon and nitrogen were determined retained in the leaves oscillating among 43,38-48,30 % and 3,374,39 %, respectively and for the culmos fluctuating among 44,65-47,53 % and 0,23-0,49 %. The analysis was made of each one of the mineral elements in the leaves through the digestion MW/ICP-OES with microwaves, with the objective of determining the percentage carbon, nitrogen and mineral elements in Bamboo. The values means of the percentages of carbon were obtained, nitrogen and of the concentrations of dry weight of each one of the present chemical elements in the foliage of the species.
