División de los bosques de Cuba por su estructura de edad

Abstract
El objetivo esencial que persigue este artículo, es exponer la metodología seguida con los estudios sobre la estructura de edad de los bosques de Cuba y la tabla donde aparecen 119 de las especies de árboles consideradas como las principales del país, las cuales se dividieron según la edad de madurez técnica, grupos de edad, clases de edad y diámetros. Las consideraciones tomadas y la estructura de los elementos evaluados, permiten la aplicación de las tablas en los trabajos de evaluación de los bosques en el proceso de la ordenación forestal.
