Dimensional change risk and humidity values recommended to the timber used in construction in Cuba

Abstract
The work that is presented studies the risks of variations in the dimensional stability of the main Wood species that grow in Cuba dedicated to the construction. From the study of the physical property, specifically the anisotropic, the bend risk is determined. In this studied the species of Pines. The results of hardwood forest species with smaller abundance but of great importance for the construction, as well as that of some softwood species of little tradition in these applications.
