Abstract
The results are presented obtained in the study of the sawed wooden yield and the quantification of the residues in the Industrial cocktail Álvaro Barba belonging to the Company Forest Integral Mines of Matahambre, Pinar del Río.
It was applied the method of direct observation and the calculation of the volume by means of the employment of Newton equation. It was found 48 sawed % of wooden yield and the rest of the raw material prevails processed in the industry it was becomes residues in its different occurrence forms (tips, sawdust, coastal, bars, etc.). Sawdust and the coastal occuping the biggest volume with a 23 and 31% respectively. It intends the employment of these as matter source prevails in other secondary productions in the own industry.
