Abstract
La publicación en revistas científicas de los resultados de la investigación es una de las contribuciones más visible a la ciencia, fácilmente accesibles y duraderas, y se expresa en el estudio FAO Montes 102 sobre el manejo de la investigación forestal. Nuestra Revista Forestal Baracoa, durante sus 35 años de vida, ha servido como fuente de información sobre la situación de las investigaciones en el sector forestal de Cuba, sus logros y perspectivas de desarrollo.
Es un compromiso mantenerla como garantía de la necesaria interacción científica que debe existir dentro de la comunidad científica como medio para compartir ideas, métodos y resultados.
A todos los que han hecho y hacen posible, de una u otra forma, que esta sea y continúe siendo nuestra principal heramienta de comunicación de los resultados de las investigaciones forestales en el país, nuestras felicitaciones.
