Propuesta de un índice meteorológico diario de peligro para elevar la eficacia de la prevención y extinción de los incendios forestales en Santa Clara, Villa Clara, Cuba

Abstract
The investigation has for objective to elevate the effectiveness of the prevention and extinction of forest fires in Santa Clara starting from the establishment of the most appropriate method to estimate the danger of forest fire. In the development of the work it is based the importance that has the estimate of the index meteorological newspaper of danger of forest fires theoretically. Three methods are compared: Nesterov I, Nesterov II and Monte Alegre. The main conclusions to those that you arrives are: the methods of Nesterov I was compared, Nesterov II and the Formula of Monte Alegre (FMA) for the estimate of the index meteorological newspaper of danger of forest fires being the most efficient the method of the FMA according to which 86% of the fires was located in the classes of danger D and E. On the other hand, the relative humidity, meteorological variable that uses the method of the FMA, constitutes a good indicator of the danger of forest fire because these they only happened when these values were presented between 30 and 67% which are not you frequent as much in Santa Clara as in the rest of the country.
