Elaboración de tabla de volumen de madera en bolo para cuatro especies latifolias de la Ciénaga de Zapata

Abstract
In Cuba prevailing to estimate de volume butt log inexact table and of foreign origin in the mensurations of the species that grow in the country. In this paper is presented the results of the integration in an equation and for to get a single volume table, of four regression equations obtained from the same number of independent variables: Lysiloma latisiliquum Benth. (fan), Bursera simaruba Sargent. (almácigo), Calophyllum antillanun Britton. (ocuje) and Bucida palustris Borhidi. (júcaro de ciénaga); with the objective of to improve the butt log measuration in Zapata Swamps and to give bigger practical utility from the obtained results. The equations obtained of the group of species presented statistical of adjustment that they make them comparable with the individual species. Equally, their biases behaved with bark and without its inferior to 3%, being inferior also to those reported by the volume table used in the production that underestimate 10%. Finally, non parametric an analysis of Kruskal- Wallis was made, to compare, the equations of the group of species, that of the species and the real value obtained with the independent data of the same one, not being differs statistically significant among each one of them. The proposed equation allows by means of the increase of the accuracy in the measuration to quantify butt log volumes that previously for lack of accuracy of the precedent methods they didn’t enter inside the calculations of the wood that was assimilated by the industry and that they reach the figure of 1180 m3.
