Estudio dasométrico de los bosques pluvisilvas de la Empresa Forestal Integral Baracoa

Abstract
In this work a dasometric study is made in three cities ofthe regían ofBaracoa, The Julián, The Guineos and Nibujon, being analized the bahavior of the periodic increment and half annual increment of the volume, according to the wood commercial value of the species and for the selections. It was also evaluated the half annual diametric increment of 15 species ofgreat demand as the increment half annual diametric far hectare of each cities. It was detemined that a great forest wealth exists with the report of 84 species. Carapa guianensis Aubl was the species of more diametric increment showing significant diference with the rest of the othe evaluated species. The pennanency of trees mature non cut which are in their phse climax present almost null incremens. The pluinal foresi ofthe regían af Baracoa increase lik:e average in 1,5611 m3/ha/year. They are few the species ofcommercial ualue present at the present timeable to give a considerable and sustained wooden volume. The uolume for hectare ofthe fine selection representing 56% of the total volume is due to the high nimber of trees with diameter smaller than 14 cm, rejlecting the alteration degree that these forest have been subjected by the antropic action
