Abstract
This work has the objetive of valuating the results in referente to biomasa quantization on the bases of the dry weight of the species Casuarina equisetifolia Forst. under four different edafoclimatic conditions in the following sites: Cauto Cristo (Granma), La Experiencia (Camagüey), Alameda (Matanzas) and EMA Trinidad (Sancti Spíritus). In Duch sites, there werw evaluated plantations of 9, 12, 4 y 5 years old respectively. Results showed yields of 46.95 t/ ha, 81.64 t/ha, 148 t/ha and 104 t/ha following the order of the sites. As a conclution, it is shown that the best sites werw Alameda (Matanzas) and EMA Trinidad (Sancti Spíritus) sice the yields werw higher in these sites than in the others.
