Etnobotánica sobre el cogollo de la palma real de los bosques cubanos

Abstract
The relationship of the plants with the man starting from the knowledge of customs and traditions on its use, constitutes the object of study of the Etnobotanical like science. In this article are analyzed the results of the study etnobotanical on the heart of the real palm and the statistical analysis of qualitative variables, with the objective of recovering information about the current use of this important nonwood forest product of the cuban forests. At the same time are defined the traditional uses and the qualities characteristics of this product, as well as the environmental aspects that keep in mind the farmers during their obtaining. The occurrence of the statisticians allows corroborating important valuations, in order to recommend favourable stocks for the sostenibility of its use.
